What psychological principle were you using? As B was filling out her application, she wrote, "I am..." but then for some reason she stopped. Maybe she was thinking, "I don't want to tell them my age !" So as she paused to think of what she was going to say, she lost spontaneity, but she subconsciously kept moving her hand to the right. Thus, whenever you see an abnormally wide space between two words, you know the writer lost spontaneity.
